Global electrical distributor The Rexel Group, Paris, France, has acquired two more distributors in North America. The announcement follows the recent acquisition of GE Supply, GE's electrical distribution business, which essentially doubled Rexel's sales in the U.S.
Rexel acquired DH Supply, a U.S. distributor of electrical and telecommunications products based in Doraville, GA. With this acquisition, Rexel doubles its locations and sales in the greater Atlanta area, with expertise in telecommunications area. DH Supply has 115 employees at six branches with $70 million in 2005 sales. DH Supply's customers include commercial contractors, industrial facilities, power utilities and telecommunications providers.
