UK-based Wolseley has changed up its leadership team since new CEO Ian Meakins took former CEO Chip Hornsby's place in 2009. Then in October, the company consolidated management of U.S. subsidiary Ferguson Enterprises and Wolseley Canada, leading to the exit of CEO John Stegeman. "Ferguson and Wolseley Canada have similar businesses which has allowed for great collaboration – particularly in the back-office areas," CEO Frank Roach told MDM in a recent interview. "Today, our focus is on organic growth." Visibility for 2010 remains limited for the distributor, but Canada has demonstrated more stability during the recession.
