for business-to-business customers involved in the distribution of products, specifically in the healthcare, high-tech, consumer-packaged
goods and food industries.
'The acquisition of CSI is a superb strategic fit,' said Cecil Duffie, a principal of
SCH who will serve as CSI's CEO. 'SCH quickly saw an investment opportunity in CSI that is truly unique in today's difficult
economy and tight investment environment. The company's superior product functionality, prestigious customer list, seasoned
management team and proven sales and services consultants convinced us that CSI can continue to be a dominant software provider
in the fragmented but growing supply chain execution space.'
Another SCH principal, Robert Moore, will serve as
CSI's chief financial officer. 'Our investment in CSI is a testament to our belief that we will strengthen its leadership
position in the supply chain execution market,' Moore said.
