DXP Enterprises, Inc., Houston, is putting more of a focus on continuous supply chain management improvements. The company has appointed Vincent Esposito Vice President of Supply Chain Management, where he will immediately assume the management responsibilities of DXP's supply chain. Esposito will report to David Vinson Sr., senior VP of Operations.
During his previous position as Director of Distribution for Safety-Kleen, Esposito ran the distribution and waste disposal operations of an $850 million dollar division consisting of three distribution centers, nine accumulation centers and associated fleets servicing 96 branch locations. DXP Enterprises is a distributor of capital equipment and maintenance, repair, operating and production products and services. DXP serves general manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, wood products and mining segments of the industrial market. Products include fluid handling equipment, bearings, power transmission equipment, general industrial supplies, safety equipment and electrical products; and MROP services include engineering expertise, contract maintenance, logistics, system agreements, repair services, vendor managed inventory, and B2B technology solutions.
