The ERIKS group has acquired Schmitztechnik GmbH in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
 
Schmitztechnik GmbH sells and customizes plastics and rubber components. The company had sales of €5.5 million. Schmitztechnik GmbH serves original equipment manufacturers (OEM) as well as the industrial maintenance market (MRO) in food, pharmaceutical, special mechanical engineering and energy.
 
The acquisition is in line with ERIKS' strategy to expand its activities with new products and to enter new markets.
