to David Gundling, president and CEO of Hagemeyer, 'This is the first major step towards the development of a national network

facilitate sales in new geography. Both the size and the sophistication of the distribution center will allow Hagemeyer to
improve service to our customers in the Southeast.'
Gundling adds, 'After a comprehensive search throughout the Southeast,
we selected the Atlanta area for numerous business reasons. We were further impressed by the cooperation and support of local
governments and business organizations, including the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, the Winder-Barrow Industrial Building
Authority, the State of Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and Georgia
Power.'
The Hagemeyer RDC, which will operate on a state-of-the-art electronic warehouse management system with radio
frequency scanning, is scheduled to 'go live' with first shipments in March 2003.
