Ozark Fluid Power, Inc., Little Rock, AR, a distributor of Parker fluid connectors and hydraulics products, has merged with fluid connectors distributor Fluid Air, of Memphis, TN. The new company will retain the Ozark name, with Fluid Air serving as a division and retaining its Memphis warehouse and retail operation. The combined firm will offer a full line of both Parker fluid connectors and hydraulics products in Arkansas, western Tennessee and northwestern Mississippi.


Specializing in Parker fluid power systems, controls, products and services, Ozark Fluid Power was founded in 1979 by Arvis Tatom, president. Ozark Fluid Power, Inc., Little Rock, AR, a distributor of Parker fluid connectors and hydraulics products, has merged with fluid connectors distributor Fluid Air, of Memphis, TN. The new company will retain the Ozark name, with Fluid Air serving as a division and retaining its Memphis warehouse and retail operation. The combined firm will offer a full line of both Parker fluid connectors and hydraulics products in Arkansas, western Tennessee and northwestern Mississippi.


Specializing in Parker fluid power systems, controls, products and services, Ozark Fluid Power was founded in 1979 by Arvis Tatom, president. Today, son Patrick Tatom is also active in the business, serving as vice president and general manager. In addition to its greater-Little Rock headquarters, the firm has a branch office and warehouse in Springdale, AR.


Fluid Air was established in 1984, initially as Memphis Connector Specialists, Inc. Harry Tickle, president and founder, will remain active in the new firm as vice president, Fluid Air Division operation manager.
