CEO Stephen Cloud said that challenges in 2010 include continued weakness of the overall economy, stimulus funding delays, supporting services and growth with fewer people, and finding quality employees. IBT, a distributor of industrial supplies, bearings, material handling, MRO and safety products, reports it is always looking at acquisition opportunities. This year, IBT has considered a handful of opportunities already, but the M&A market continues to be difficult. "The dilemma you get caught in is that people who want to sell their companies think they are worth more than they really are," Cloud said.
