IBC, Hartford, CT, has formed an alliance with IMARK Group, Inc., Bowie, MD, to serve the end-user market. The alliance will allow end-users access to a broader network of local and regional independent distributors, according to Rich Poole, vice president of the industrial division of IBC.

IMARK GROUP, Inc. is a member-owned marketing group made up of over 900 independently owned electrical distributors throughout the United States.
"This alliance enables our members to be part of a comprehensive end user solution that emphasizes the benefits of local and regional independent distributors," says Bob Smith, president and CEO of IMARK. "IBC's Minority Business Enterprise designation provides our members the opportunity to extend minority credits on specific contracts."
IBC is a North American alliance of industrial, bearing & power transmission, safety and sub-assembly distributors with over 640 locations and total sales in excess of $3 billion.
