Ferguson Enterprises Inc., Newport News, VA, No. 1 on MDM's list of the top 40 industrial distributors, has acquired Louisiana Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting Inc. The company will operate as part of Ferguson's industrial division, Wolseley Industrial Group.

Louisiana Chemical is a distributor of stainless steel, carbon steel and nickel alloy pipe, valves, fittings and flanges. Its founder, Bobby DeAngelo, will remain as General Manager.
Louisiana Chemical PVF has three locations, two in Baton Rouge, LA, and one in Sulphur, LA.
“Louisiana Chemical PVF is a strong and reputable company in the Baton Rouge market and has been since 1998,” said Rob Braig, vice president for Wolseley Industrial Group. “There is a strong demand for PVF products and services in the Gulf Coast region and we are confident this acquisition will enable us to fully meet this demand by enhancing our local presence.”
Wolseley Industrial Group has 260 locations focused on commercial, industrial and mechanical businesses, including manufacturing facilities and utility plants. Services include PVF distribution, automation and testing; integrated services/supply chain management; and industrial OEM/MRO.
