Graybar, St. Louis, MO, distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products, and No. 6 on MDM's list of the top 25 electrical distributors, reported 15 percent sales growth in the fourth quarter 2010 from the prior-year period.

Sales for 2010 were $4.6 billion, up 5.4 percent from 2009. Profit was $42.3 million.
“Like many businesses, we were unsure what to expect from the economy at the beginning of 2010. After a slow start, momentum began to build in our markets and we capitalized on this opportunity. I am very proud of how our employees focused on serving our customers to achieve growth,” said Robert A. Reynolds, Jr., president and CEO.
Graybar has a network of nearly 240 North American distribution facilities.
