HVACR distributor Johnstone Supply, Inc., Portland, has appointed DeWight Wallace as the cooperative's new CEO. Wallace will assume responsibilities in January 2010.

Wallace brings over 25 years of professional experience, including executive management positions directing all key aspects of business operations across a range of industries.

Wallace previously worked at electronics distributor Premier Farnell, where as president of MCM Electronics he reversed a 3-year revenue decline and delivered 9% year over year growth. Most recently Wallace served as president of Newark Electronics, where he was responsible for a $550 million, 1,600 employee specialty electronics distribution business serving the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Johnstone Supply has more than $1 billion in annual sales and more than 340 independently owned store locations across America.
