The safety line includes 5,000 new items, with a range of personal protective equipment, including head, face, eye and respiratory protection and other facility and work zone safety products. The line includes such industry-leading brands as 3M, Ansell, Crews, E-A-R, North and Uvex.
“With tens of thousands of safety products on the marketplace, we wanted to customize our safety offering to meet the specific needs of our customers,” said Christian Wiltrout, vice president of product management and corporate marketing at Lawson Products. “We proactively solicited input from customers and industry experts and, as a result, have created an offering that accurately reflects the needs of the marketplace.”
The addition of a safety product line is part of Lawson Products’ larger strategy to grow its customer-base and business through targeted, customer-driven product expansions, according to a press release.
