Machine Tool Solutions Unlimited Acquired by Finland Manufacturer

The acquisition is Konecranes' first in the United States.

Finland-based Konecranes, a lifting equipment manufacturer, has acquired Machine Tool Solutions Unlimited, Cincinnati, OH. The acquisition is expands Konecranes presence in the Americas. Machine Tool Solutions Unlimited is Konecranes' first MTS acquisition in the U.S. The value of the acquisition is not disclosed.

Machine Tool Solutions provides machine tool rebuilding, control retrofits, preventive maintenance, calibration and repair services. Annual net sales 2008 were $5.2 million. The company has 18 employees.
