Mitch Williams Named Senior Vice President Rexel Asia-Pacific

Jim Hibberd, vice president global sales and business development, will replace Williams as the head of Gexpro.

Paris, France-based Rexel and its U.S. operating company, Rexel Holdings USA, No. 3 on MDM's list of top electrical distributors, has promoted Mitch Williams to Senior Vice President Rexel Asia-Pacific. Williams was previously senior vice president and CEO of RHUSA's Gexpro division.

Jim Hibberd, vice president global sales and business development, will replace Williams.

"Both Mitch and Jim are outstanding leaders, who I am confident will continue to have a positive impact on the company's global growth strategy," said Chris Hartmann, executive vice president and CEO of Rexel Holdings USA.

Williams, who has spent 21 years with GE Supply/Gexpro, was named to the top position at Gexpro in 2007. Williams will continue responsibility for Gexpro Asia creating greater collaboration and synergy across the company's business units in that region.
