RSC Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RRR), Scottsdale, AZ, equipment rental provider in North America, reported sales for 2011 were $1.5 billion, up 23 percent from 2010. Full-year net loss was $30 million, smaller than the year-ago net loss of $74 million.

Rental revenue in 2011 was up 24 percent from the prior year, and rental volume was up 18.9 percent. Rental rates improved 4.9 percent from 2010.
Total revenue for the fourth quarter 2011 was $421 million and rental revenue was $364 million. Rental revenue was up 27 percent over the fourth quarter 2010. Rental volume was up 20.7 percent year-over-year. Rental rates in the quarter improved 6.5 percent.
