Watsco, Inc. (NYSE:WSO), Coconut Grove, FL, announced its business unit, East Coast Metal Distributors, Durham, NC, completed the acquisition of The Bill Voorhees Company, Nashville, TN. Bill Voorhees has two locations and revenues in 2009 of $14 million and sells HVAC equipment manufactured by Goodman Manufacturing.

East Coast operates from 36 locations serving over 8,500 air conditioning and heating contractors throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee. East Coast was acquired by Watsco in 2005.
Watsco is the a distributor of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment and related parts and supplies in the HVAC/R industry, operating 505 locations in 36 states, Puerto Rico, Latin America and the Caribbean.
