WESCO International, Inc. (NYSE: WCC), Pittsburgh, PA, a distributor of electrical, industrial, and communications MRO and OEM products, construction materials, and advanced supply chain management and logistics services, reported sales for 2011 were $6.13 billion, up 21 percent from 2010. WESCO is No. 2 on MDM’s list of the top 25 electrical distributors.

Acquisitions and foreign exchange positively affected sales by 6.8 percent and 0.8 percent respectively.
Organic sales growth was 13.8 percent.
Profit for 2011 was $196.8 million.
For the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011, sales were $1.58 billion, up 19.4 percent. Acquisitions positively affected sales by 6.2 percent. Organic sales were up 14.8 percent.
Profit in the fourth quarter was $54.8 million.
