Alamo Iron Works Agrees to Sell to Industrial Distribution Group Post-Bankruptcy

Industrial supplies distributor Alamo Iron Works filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy in early April.

Still, manufacturers will be challenged due to capacity constraints, low capital expenditure expectations and increased prices paid, ISM reports.

Kaman buys Minarik, which had $84M in sales in 2009, for a purchase price of $39 million.

Year-to-date, sales for the foodservice distributor were up 3.1 percent.
