2010 Construction Spending 10.3% Below 2009

December 2010 construction spending was 6.4% below December 2009.

New orders and production continue to be strong, according to ISM.

Survey shows supply chain professionals expect more difficulty in forecasting, budgeting, & planning.

International core sales increased 11 percent, with U.S. core sales up 10 percent.

Fourth quarter sales increased 18 percent year-over-year and 3 percent over 3Q.

Full-year sales increased 8.5 percent.

The manufacturer recorded a net loss for the quarter of $63.8 million.
