Session 1 – The Distribution M&A Landscape

The opening session of our event will give an overview of M&A activity across wholesale distribution. We will have two presentations on macro trends for distribution M&A amid the pandemic and the outlook for 2021, plus a panel of acquisitive wholesale distributors providing best practices for both buyers and sellers. 

Session 2 – Best Practices for buyers and sellers

The second session will include tips for smaller distributors on navigating the M&A process. We will have a presentation on buy-side and sell-side strategies, a presentation on what’s driving consolidation in the building materials sector and a panel of investment bankers and private equity professionals sharing insights on the art of either a strategic or financial deal. 

Session 3 – Deal execution & Integration

The third and final session will examine the post-COVID ins and outs of executing an acquisition from either side of the deal. We’ll have presentations and panels on due diligencethe integration process and including pitfalls to watch for.
