Less than a year after its official groundbreaking, Master Chemical Corporation of Perrysburg, has opened Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., in the People's Republic of China.

The event was attended by more than 150 people including Master Chemical Corporation personnel, Master Chemical Asian distributors, local dignitaries, customers, and suppliers.

Speakers and presenters included Joe H. Wright, Chief Executive Officer, and Xinfang Lu, recently promoted to Corporate Director Asian Business Development and General Manager Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

In his remarks Mr. Wright delivered greetings from Marian Sluhan. Clyde and Marian Sluhan founded Master Chemical as a pioneer leader in the metalworking fluids industry more than 50 years ago.

Mr. Wright thanked the dedication and creativity of the hundreds of people that made this day possible and stated that Master Chemical and all its global facilities offer high quality products, services, technical support, and education to help customers succeed. Mr. Lu noted that the global company, today, has a very strong presence in Asia and now employs more than 30 individuals in China alone. Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., will be a very important part of the growth of Master Chemical Corporation worldwide. Besides serving as a manufacturing and service facility, the Shanghai 20,000 square foot newly built structure will be the technical center of Asia for all Master Chemical distributors and customers. The full line of TRIMﾮ brand metalworking fluids and XYBEXﾮ recycling systems are now available throughout China.
