Kaman Industrial Technologies opened a new branch inMississauga, Ontario, and also named a new director of strategic process development. The 7,000-square-foot facility will be positioned to serve the needs of the food and beverage, automotive, and building materials industries, according to the company.
The Mississauga branch will be the company's tenth location in Canada but the company's first location in Ontario's industrial marketplace. "The opening of our Mississauga location increases our ability to serve customers throughout North America as well as those companies that have expanded their operational footprints to take advantage of international manufacturing opportunities," said Kaman Industrial Technologies President T. Jack Cahill. "We are very excited to be able to introduce the Ontario manufacturing community to Kaman's tradition of excellence in the supply of power transmission products and technology-based service, and look forward to future expansion of our capabilities through Canada."
The company also announced the appointment of Stephen M. Paulino to director of strategic process development. He will report to vice president of finance Roger S. Jorgensen.
Paolino will direct a variety of major cross-functional initiatives to achieve the company's long-range strategic objectives. He will also oversee development of processes to guide future strategies and tactics.
Paolino most recently served as the company's director of financial planning and analysis. Prior to joining Kaman Industrial Technologies, he held financial positions with Ensign-Bickford and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
"Steve has been a tremendous asset to Kaman Industrial Technologies since he joined the company in 1993," said Jorgensen. "We are very pleased to have Steve take on this important new assignment. The projects that result from Steve's work will be critical to the long-term success of our organization."
