U.S. MARKET ANALYSIS: MRO Product Consumption Down 7.2% in 2005

Consumption of MRO products have dropped 7.2% from the previous year in U.S. markets, according to the annual MDM/IMI MRO Market Analysis. The U.S. market size in 2005 for the 126 MRO industrial product groups is $378.5 billion, down 7.2% from last year's study. The 2004 market estimate was $407.8 billion, up 6.2% from the previous year. The 2003 market estimate total of $383.9 billion was down 8.2% from the previous year's total of $418.1 billion.
