Fastenal Co. (Nasdaq: FAST), Winona, MN, reported sales for February of $324.8 million, a 1.1 percent increase year-over-year. Daily sales increased 6.1 percent to an average of $16.2 million.

During the month, sales to manufacturing customers increased 6.3 percent, while sales to nonresidential construction customers increased 6.2 percent.

Store count was 2,507, compared to 2,633 a year ago. Employee headcount decreased 4.4 percent year-over-year to 19,782.
