DistributionNOW (NYSE:DNOW), Houston, TX, reported sales for the second quarter ended June 30 of $777 million, up 19.4 percent over the same quarter in 2017. The company reported a loss for the quarter of $14 million, compared to a loss of $17 million last year.
Sales for the first six months increased 20.2 percent to $1.5 billion. The company reported a profit for the period of $16 million, compared to a loss of $40 million the previous year.
