H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL), St. Paul, MN, reported sales for the fourth quarter ended Nov. 28, 2009, were $341.6 million, down 2.5% from the prior year period but up 8% from third quarter. Profit for the manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, paints and other specialty chemical products was $24.6 million, compared to a loss of $42..4 million a year ago.

For fiscal year 2009, sales were $1.2 billion, down 11% from the prior year. Profit was $83.7 million, up from $18.9 million for fiscal year 2008.
