Bossard’s complete fasteners portfolio includes worldwide sales, technical consulting (engineering) and inventory management (logistics) services, serving local and multinational industrial companies.
Bossard announced plans to acquire Intrado AG (Hünenberg), a subsidiary of Jacob GmbH in Kernen, Germany, in February 2013, a purchase executives say will complement Bossard’s line of fastening components for the electrical engineering industry. Bossard also acquired KVT-Fastening in the past year, furthering Bossard’s strategic objective of expanding its range of high-end and specialized fastening technology. The company also streamlined its business portfolio in 2012, selling “a small distributor-oriented business division in the United States to a long-term partner,” according to Bossard’s annual report, allowing the company’s North American business to focus entirely on OEMs.
