Garry Vaynberg is a managing director in the Piper Jaffray & Co. (“Piper Jaffray”) industrial growth investment banking group, head of the distribution practice and senior member of the building products practice. Vaynberg focuses on providing a full range of investment banking services, including M&A and capital raising. He has nearly 20 years of financial advisory experience.
Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 2004, Vaynberg worked at ShoreView Industries, a middle-market private equity firm and at A.G. Edwards & Sons, a middle-market investment banking firm. He has worked on a variety of transactions in his career, including sell-side assignments, buyer advisory, fairness opinions, restructuring advisory, and public and private offerings of equity and debt.
Vaynberg earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and finance from the University of Minnesota.

Jimmer Dorweiler is a principal in the Piper Jaffray & Co. (“Piper Jaffray”) industrial growth investment banking group. Dorweiler focuses on providing a full range of investment banking services, including M&A advisory and capital raising. He has more than 10 years of investment banking experience.
Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 2014, Dorweiler worked at Green Manning & Bunch, Ltd., a Denver-based middle-market investment bank focused on sell-side M&A transactions. Dorweiler’s experience also includes in-house corporate M&A opportunities, where he evaluated potential acquisitions and divestitures. He began his investment banking career with BMO Capital Markets, where he focused on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, as well as debt and equity offerings for middle-market companies.
Dorweiler earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a former varsity swimmer and Academic All-American.
