Bowstring Advises America II in its Recapitalization by Wynnchurch Capital
Bowstring Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to America II Electronics, a leading global distributor of electronic components, in its recapitalization by Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago-based middle-market private equity firm.
Founded in 1989, America II supplies a broad array of electronic components for use in higher value-add applications across diversified end-markets including industrial controls and sensors, medical devices, data networks, internet-connected products, and material handling/transportation equipment.
Bowstring Advises Inmark in its Recapitalization by Quad-C Management
Bowstring Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Inmark Packaging, a leading distributor of rigid container and life sciences packaging, in its recapitalization by Quad-C Management. The deal was structured as an owner-operator recapitalization, allowing the company’s management to retain a significant ownership in the business.
Based in Atlanta, Inmark Packaging is a leading global provider of packaging solutions, with locations in North America, Europe and Asia. Founded in 1975, the company primarily distributes rigid container packaging, and designs and distributes life sciences packaging solutions for specimen transport, temperature-controlled and dangerous goods applications. Inmark also provides online dangerous goods regulatory compliance training.
Jason joined Bowstring Advisors in 2014 to advise growth-oriented industrial services businesses. Jason has 20 years of experience advising Boards of Directors and senior management teams on their most critical business and strategic issues. He has executed M&A transactions totaling more than $40 billion in enterprise value. Prior to joining Bowstring, Jason was a Managing Director for Blackstone Advisory Partners, the M&A advisory arm of Blackstone. At Blackstone, Jason was a founding member of the Atlanta office and led Blackstone’s efforts in business and industrial services. Jason began his career in the Investment Banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Jason is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
David joined Bowstring in 2017, recognizing a tremendous opportunity to build a leading Industrial Services practice on the rapidly growing Bowstring platform. He brings over a decade of investment banking experience, having advised clients on over 20 M&A transactions in excess of $20 billion in aggregate transaction value. His experience includes advising on multibillion dollar public company mergers, corporate carveouts and take-privates, as well as middle market sell-side and buy-side transactions involving both family-owned businesses and private equity portfolio companies. Prior to joining Bowstring, David was a Director in the Industrials group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta where he led the Chemicals & Chemicals Distribution practice group. Prior to SunTrust, he was a Vice President in the Industrials M&A group at Evercore Partners in New York for five years. David began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at The Robinson-Humphrey Company in Atlanta. David graduated from The University of Virginia and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Ryan is a Vice President with Bowstring Advisors where he advises on Healthcare Services, Human Capital Management and Industrial Services transactions. He focuses on executing middle-market sell-side M&A engagements, and is responsible for managing all aspects of the deal process. Prior to joining Bowstring in 2016, Ryan worked in the Diversified Industrials & Services group at Piper Jaffray where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory and private equity-backed transactions. Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, a JD (School of Law) and a MBA (Terry School of Business).
Robert is a Vice President with Bowstring Advisors where he has experience with Industrial Services, Healthcare Services and Human Capital Management. He is responsible for transaction execution across a broad range of industries and managing all aspects of the deal process. Prior to joining Bowstring in 2012, Robert was at FMI Capital Advisors where he advised on M&A transactions for companies in the engineering and construction sectors. Robert graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Christian is an Associate with Bowstring Advisors where he is on the Industrial Services team. In this role he advises c-suite executives at high-performing businesses within Bowstring’s sectors of expertise. Prior to joining Bowstring in 2016, Christian worked at Axial, a venture-capital backed financial technology company based in New York, where he focused on business development. Previous experience includes roles in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Christian is a graduate from Washington & Lee University and is currently pursuing an MBA from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech.
