The Stephens Specialty Distribution and Services team concentrates on growing middle market companies that provide specialty distribution and services to a broad group of customers in diverse end markets regionally, nationally and globally. The Stephens’ team is unique in its specialization and combines deep industry knowledge with a full suite of investment banking services. We deliver expert advice on mergers, acquisitions, sales and divestitures as well as capital markets transactions in the public and private equity and debt markets. Since 2011, our team has advised on 53 successful M&A transactions and raised approximately $6.3 billion of capital for clients through debt and equity transactions.

Our team has extensive relationships with many of the leading public and private companies in targeted sectors. In addition to our corporate client relationships, we have a targeted effort directed at private equity firms that have a specialized focus in distribution and services.

Stephens Inc. served as exclusive financial advisor to EiKO Global, a portfolio company of Stephens Capital Partners, LLC & Charter Oak Equity, in its sale to Inverness Graham. Stephens, Inc. served as exclusive financial advisor to Royston, a portfolio company of Stephens Capital Partners, in its sale to Industrial Opportunity Partners. Brad Yates-125 Brad Yates, Managing Director & Head of Industrials

Mr. Yates is a Managing Director responsible for the firm’s Industrials effort. He also founded the firm’s Specialty Distribution & Services practice in 2004. He has over 35 years of experience in investment banking. Mr. Yates has helped clients raise over $30 billion in the public and private markets including a considerable amount of leveraged acquisition financing. He has provided M&A advice on over 150 transactions for numerous companies and boards representing well over $10 billion in value. He has also worked extensively with private equity firms leading a significant number of sell-side assignments. Andrew Sweet-125 Andrew Sweet, Managing Director

Mr. Sweet joined Stephens in 2010 as an Associate in the firm’s Industrial Distribution & Services group. Prior to his current role at Stephens, he was an Associate at Hyde Capital, an investment banking firm in Tampa, FL. There he participated in a wide variety of M&A and capital raising transactions across various industries. Mr. Sweet began his career at McColl Partners, a middle-market investment banking firm in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Furman University, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
