The United Distribution Group continues to be active on the acquisition front, including the acquisition by subsidiary GHX Industrial of Flowline Components Inc. and Flowline OEM Group Inc. in mid-2013. “Expanding our service area throughout the U.S. and Canada is an ongoing strategic focus for GHX and the acquisition of the Flowline locations complements our already strong North American presence,” said Darrell Cole, president & CEO of The United Distribution Group, when the acquisition was announced.
In 2012, United Central Industrial Supply, a mining supply distribution company, acquired GHX Holdings Inc., one of the largest fluid transfer and sealing products distributors in the energy market. Combined, the companies operate as The United Distribution Group. United Central is focused on underground mining industry, and GHX focuses on energy markets.
