Baird served as financial advisor to Kaman, on the sale of its Distribution Segment to Littlejohn & Co. Kaman’s Distribution Segment is a leading distributor of more than 6 million items including electro-mechanical, bearings, power transmission, motion control and electrical and fluid power components, as well as automation and MRO supplies, to customers in virtually every industry.

Ohio Transmission Corporation (“OTC”)

Baird served as exclusive financial advisor to OTC, a portfolio company of Irving Place Capital, in its sale to Genstar Capital Partners. OTC is a leading distributor and value-add service provider serving over 13,000 customers and 4,000 suppliers across diverse end-markets.

Flow Control Group (“FCG”)

Baird served as financial advisor to FCG, a portfolio company of AEA, in its sale to Bertram Capital. FCG is a leading independent specialty flow control and fluid handling distribution platform in North America connecting more than 10,000 customers and 2,000 suppliers.

TruckPro

Baird served as financial advisor to TruckPro, a portfolio company of Harvest Partners, in its sale to Platinum Equity. TruckPro is a leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer products and a provider of advanced repair services.

Jason received an M.B.A. from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Finance, with the highest honors, from the University of Florida.

Tom Lange joined Baird in 1996, and is a member of the Distribution team within Baird’s Global Industrial Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Baird, Tom was a partner in the securities and mergers and acquisitions practice of the law firm of Foley & Lardner. He is a member of the State Bar of Florida, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Tom graduated, magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, and received a B.B.A. degree with a concentration in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. He began his career in the Chicago office of Ernst & Whinney.

Nick Troyer joined Baird in 2011, and is a member of the Distribution team within Baird’s Global Industrial Investment Banking Group. Nick provides analytical and execution leadership on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, and other financial advisory services. Nick has a wide range of experience working with publicly-traded, financial sponsor-backed and family-owned companies across a range of distribution verticals.

Nick received an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an M.S. in Finance from The University of Tampa with highest honors, and a B.S. in Finance, with honors, from the University of Florida.

Alex Murrill joined Baird in 2016, and is a member of the Distribution team within Baird’s Global Industrial Investment Banking Group. Alex has ten years of experience of public and private mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings, primarily within the industrial technology, process and flow control and energy equipment sectors.

Prior to joining Baird, Alex spent 5 years with Harris Williams & Co. as part of the Industrials Group, focused on middle-market sell-side transactions for private equity clients. Alex qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, and previously spent 4 years as part of ING’s European Corporate Finance team. Alex has a first class BA Hons degree in Economics with French from the University of Nottingham
