SKF Sales Up 7.1% in 2015

Fourth-quarter sales decreased 1.5 percent year-over-year.

Swedish bearing manufacturer SKF reported sales for 2015 of SEK 76 billion (US$8.9 billion), up 7.1 percent from 2014. Profit was down 14.2 percent to SEK 4.1 billion (US$480 million).

For the fourth quarter, sales were SEK 18.2 billion (US$2.1 billion), a 1.5 percent decrease over the same period a year ago. Profit was down 51.4 percent to SEK 428 million (US$49.9 million).
