Atlas Copco, Stockholm, Sweden, has agreed to acquire South Korea-based CSK Inc. from Hanyang ENG Co. Ltd. for SEK 840 million (US$101.2 million).
CSK, with 400 employees and 2015 sales of SEK 870 million (US$104.8 million), is a supplier of abatement solutions in the South Korean semiconductor, display, solar and LED markets. The company also has sales and service locations in China, Taiwan and the United States.
The acquired business will become part of the vacuum solutions division in Atlas Copco’s compressor technique business area.
“This acquisition will enable us to offer customers a wider range of top-quality solutions thanks to the highly qualified team at CSK,” said Nico Delvaux, president of Atlas Copco’s compressor technique business area.
