Bunzl Acquires Companies in Netherlands, Brazil

Acquisitions expand Bunzls product offerings in safety and cleaning sectors.

International distribution and outsourcing company Bunzl plc (LON: BNZL), London, England, has made two acquisitions in the Netherlands and Brazil.

Bunzl has acquired Allshoes Benelux BV in the Netherlands. Based in Alkmaar, Allshoes is a distributor of both branded and own brand safety and work shoes to wholesalers and retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium. Revenue in 2013 was €19.9 million (US$27.1 million).

Bunzl has also acquired JPLUS Comércio e Distribuição Ltda in Brazil. Based in Minas Gerais, JPLUS distributes cleaning and hygiene supplies and disposable products. Revenue in 2013 was R$39.3 million (US$17.8 million).
