Shale-Inland Holdings Acquires Flomax Products

Shale-Inland expands valves and automation offerings with acquisition.

Industrial pipes, valves and fittings distributor Shale-Inland Holdings LLC, Houston, TX, has acquired Flomax Products Inc., a distributor of small diameter valves and actuators to customers across the petrochemical, chemical, mining, refining and food & beverage industries.

"By expanding Shale-Inland's valves and automation capabilities, we better position the company to more completely deliver on the expectations of our current customers, as well as attract new ones by offering continued quality and reliability," said Keith Barnard, president of Shale-Inland's valves and automation division.

Flomax Products will retain its name and operate as part of Shale-Inland's valves and automation platform. Jim Brannan, co-founder of Flomax Products, will continue to lead the Flomax business.
