The Manitowoc Company Inc. (NYSE: MTW), Manitowoc, WI, has made several executive appointments in line with the company’s long-term succession planning process.

Eric Etchart, who previously served as president of Manitowoc Cranes, has been appointed to senior vice president, business development of The Manitowoc Company. Larry Weyers, who previously served as global executive vice president for Manitowoc Cranes, will succeed Etchart as president of Manitowoc Cranes.

In addition, Josef Matosevic will assume the role of senior vice president of global operational excellence of The Manitowoc Company after the planned retirement of Mark Beffel, effective February 2.  Matosevic previously served as executive vice president of manufacturing for Manitowoc Cranes.
