Harvey Gerstman Associates Names New President

Charlie Gerstman will manage all facets of HGA’s business, including all manufacturer relationships, the field sales team and marketing.

On May 5, Harvey Gerstman Associates — a manufacturers representative agency in the construction, industrial, safety and retail markets — announced that Charlie Gerstman has been promoted to President.

Previously Vice President of Sales, Charlie Gerstman will continue to manage all facets of HGA’s business, including all manufacturer relationships, the field sales team and marketing, HGA said. Charlie, a principal of the company, joined HGA in 2015 and is the third generation of the Gerstman family to enter the business.

“Charlie continues to drive the growth of HGA both in territorial coverage and in revenue,” said Dan Gerstman, HGA principal and CEO. “In the last eight years, HGA has expanded its sales territory from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to the Southeast and Ohio Valley and now provides sales representation to its principals throughout the entire Eastern United States. With Charlie’s enthusiasm and strong leadership, our family looks forward to the short and long term as we build the business to even greater heights and drive sales for our valued manufacturer partners.”
