Sellars Adds National Accounts Leader

David Hine joins the absorbents maker after more than 14 years at von Drehle Corp.

Sellars Absorbent Materials — a Milwaukee-based maker of wipes, absorbents and towel and tissue products — added David Hine to its sales team, where he will serve as Vice President of National Accounts.

Sellars detailed that Hine previously spent more than 14 years with von Drehle Corporation, where he established its national accounts division and significantly grew topline sales, profitability and the firm’s number of large national accounts. He also helped develop new products for von Drehle’s private label brands.

“Great companies are made by great people, and we are very pleased to have David join our team,” said Tom Sellars, Chief Executive of Sellars. “We look forward to his contributions to our shared success and are fortunate to have another senior sales leader join the team. During the past year, we’ve brought over three top performers from von Drehle – Larry Cook, Paul Ihde and now David. It’s a powerhouse trio that has decades of experience in the category.”

Hine joins Sellars’ team of more than 200 employees.
