Advantech serves the Mid-Atlantic region and specializes in large facility security, fire and life safety systems, access control, homeland security, video surveillance, and intrusion protection, according to the company.

• Building Specialties, Birmingham, Alabama, is a CDH distributor with four Alabama branch locations in key markets for the C&B Group. These acquisitions represent the 8th and 9th acquisition by Cook & Boardman, the nation’s largest distributor of commercial doors, frames and hardware, electronic access control equipment and specialty (Division 10) products, since the distributor’s acquisition by Littlejohn, LLC in October 2018.
