On March 3, Crawford Electric Supply, a subsidiary of electrical distributor Sonepar USA, announced their expanded relationship with Schneider Electric Company. Sonepar USA ranked No. 2 on MDM’s Top Electrical, Data & Security Distributors list in 2022.

Crawford’s Texas locations in Austin, San Antonio, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Killeen, Leander, Mission, New Braunfels, Odessa and Round Rock; and Louisiana locations in Baton Rouge, Geismar, Lake Charles, New Orleans and Plaquemine will transition to premier status supporting Schneider Electric’s full line of Square D products, services and solutions, according to a news release. Additionally, Crawford’s North Texas locations will move to single source with Siemens, the release said.

“We are excited to further expand our relationship and grow the opportunities with Schneider Electric and enhance our Siemens relationship in North Texas,” Crawford President Mike Dumas said in the release. “In servicing our customers at the highest level, we aim to have the best facilities, resources and services for our customers. We will also increase our branch locations to be more conveniently located throughout Texas and Louisiana.”

Crawford’s transition to Schneider Electric at these locations begins March 6, according to the release. Crawford expects Schneider products will be in inventory and available for sale beginning the week of March 13. Crawford will continue to sell through remaining inventory and backlog of other distribution equipment products in coordination with all of our current manufacturer partners in this product category, with a focus on proper service and management of pre-existing orders, according to the release.
