Atlas Copco Agrees to Acquire Bondtech

Acquisition expands company's presence in the Nordic region.

Atlas Copco, Stockholm, Sweden, has agreed to acquire Bondtech, a Swedish supplier of dispensing equipment for adhesives and sealants used by automotive manufacturers. Terms were not disclosed.

Bondtech, with 2015 sales of SEK 32 million (US$3.9 million) and 12 employees, is a division of Teamster AB, based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

“Bondtech’s team has great expertise and a strong presence in the Nordic market,” said Mats Rahmström, president of Atlas Copco’s industrial technique business area.
