Bunzl Acquires Companies in U.S. and Italy

Company acquires safety businesses ML Kishigo and Neri.

Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing group, has acquired two safety companies – one each in the U.S. and Italy. Terms were not disclosed.

Bunzl acquired ML Kishigo, Santa Ana, CA, a seller of high visibility clothing and other safety related workwear to distributors throughout the U.S. Revenue in 2016 was $34 million.

And it acquired Neri and its associated companies, which are based near Bologna, Italy. The companies supply a broad range of personal protection equipment, including gloves, footwear and workwear, to both distributors and end users throughout Italy. Revenue in 2016 was €47 million (US$50.1 million).
