Atlanta, GA-based EIS Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), has acquired Empire Wire and Supply, Rochester Hills, MI. Terms were not disclosed.
Empire Wire and Supply is a provider of custom cable assemblies and a distributor of network, electrical, automation and safety products. Empire operates out of three locations in the U.S. and one in Canada and is expected to generate annual revenues of approximately $65 million.
“Empire complements the Wire and Cable business at EIS and further strengthens our overall capabilities to serve the industrial robotic and automation markets,” said Paul Donahue, president and CEO of EIS.
