Health Care Provider Ends Distribution Agreement with Owens & Minor

Termination to cost Owens & Minor $525 million a year.

Owens & Minor Inc. (NYSE: OMI), Richmond, VA, announced that one of its customers, a health care provider, will not renew its distribution agreement this year. The unnamed customer generated $525 million in revenue for Owens & Minor in 2015.

"Although we are disappointed in the customer's decision to make this transition, we remain focused on achieving our long-term financial and operational performance goals," said Cody Phipps, president and CEO of Owens & Minor.
