Manitowoc to Close Facility in Cleveland, OH

This change is in preparation for the spinoff of the company's foodservice business.

The Manitowoc Company Inc. (NYSE: MTW), Manitowoc, WI, plans to close its Cleveland, OH, facility and move products currently manufactured there to other locations.

"These efforts are essential as we continue preparations for the eventual spin-off of the company’s Foodservice business in the first quarter of 2016," said Hubertus M. Muehlhaeuser, president and CEO of Manitowoc Foodservice Inc. and senior vice president of The Manitowoc Company. "This decision was also driven by the need to improve our operational efficiencies, while also meeting the demands of our customers and enabling us to compete more effectively on a global basis.”
