UFP Western Division, a subsidiary of Universal Forest Products Inc. (NASDAQ: UFPI), Grand Rapids, MI, has acquired Bigs Packaging and Lumber LLC, Dallas, TX, a manufacturer of industrial wood and packaging solutions.
Bigs had sales in the past year of approximately $50 million. The acquisition provides a presence in the Southwestern U.S. for UFP Western Division.
