United Stationers Appoints COO, CIO

Office, janitorial and breakroom supplies distributor names Connolly, Zelenka to executive positions.

United Stationers Inc. (NASDAQ: USTR), Deerfield, IL, has appointed Timothy Connolly to chief operating officer and Janet Zelenka to senior vice president and chief information officer.

Connolly, who will continue reporting to President and CEO Cody Phipps, has been with United Stationers since 2003 and was most recently the company's president, business transformation and supply chain

Zelenka joined the company in 2006 as vice president and general auditor, and she has served as vice president of finance and margin management.
