W.W. Grainger (NYSE: GWW) made significant strides in international markets over the past year, with the acquisition of Fabory in Europe, a distributor with about $300 million in annual sales. In 2012, Grainger entered Brazil with the acquisition of AnFreixo. In 2011 Grainger touted the growth of its e-commerce platform, as it produced more than a quarter of its annual sales volume. Grainger also increased its focus on services and its inventory management program KeepStock. "Our KeepStock program is really an important part of our business, and it is growing rapidly," said then-Grainger U.S. president Mike Pulick in an interview on Grainger's Growth Drivers at the end of 2011. Grainger switched up its leadership in 2011, making its Grainger International President Court Carruthers the Grainger U.S. president, and moving Mike Pulick to lead the international operations.
